Bob’s Gone

I’ve held off on writing this for a week or so because I wasn’t exactly sure what to say. I lost a long-time friend and business partner Bob O’Dea recently, our Executive Vice President, after a brief illness. There’s no creative way to say what this loss means to myself or anyone else that worked with Bob over the years. He brought a unique skill set that simply cannot be replaced. Will I hire someone else to take the position? Probably. Will work go on as usual. Absolutely. If Bob could say anything right now about this it would be “don’t let the clients down, keep moving forward,” which we will. But, it simply won’t be the same, and I guess that’s ok, because change is never easy. We’ll miss you Bob. I’ll miss our inside jokes, our creative sessions, even our occasional disagreements. I’ll miss a lot. And I hope that you’ll know that. d
